Your data on Stride
Last updated 16 October 2026
Stride is a free revision site for Cambridge IGCSE Physical Education, run by a PE teacher. This page explains what it stores, why, and how to delete it.
Without an account
You can use everything without signing in. Your progress is saved only in your own web browser, on your device. Stride's server never receives it.
If you sign in with Google or Microsoft
- From your sign-in: your name, your email address, and an ID number from Google or Microsoft so Stride recognises you next time. Stride never sees your password.
- Your progress: which videos you've ticked, your drill scores, your exam-practice answers and marks, your notes on what you missed, and your flashcard (reps) progress.
- One cookie keeps you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Why
Only so your progress follows you between devices, and so your teacher can see how revision is going and help you. It is not used for anything else.
Who can see it
You, and the teacher who runs Stride. It is never sold or shared with anyone else. It's stored with Neon (database, in Frankfurt, Germany) and served by Cloudflare.
Videos
Lesson videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, and only load when you press play. Once playing, YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that video.
Deleting your data
Signed in, go to Your account and data and choose Delete my account. Your account and all your saved progress are removed straight away and can't be recovered. Without an account, use Reset my progress at the bottom of any page.
